Chuanzhusi Town is the necessary way for people who want to visit the Jiuzhaigou, Huanglong and the  Northwest grassland of Sichuan Province. The town is 17 km northeast of Songpan County. The town is very important for being the crossroads of lots of famous attractions.
The town was listed as one of the 100 experimental development places in 1994. Covering 1143.15 square kilometers and governing 14 villages, Chuanzhusi Town is a newly-established highland town with its unique features.
At present, the town has enlarged its scopes for tourism and has become new highland tourist town including dining, hotel accommodation and sightseeing.
