The Old city part of Kashgar is centrally located around the Eidgah Mosque. The streets and the houses are at least several hundred years old. The town is located at a precipitous position with mud-thatched buildings densely built one atop another. Small lane streets lead you to the every corner of it. Inside the town, are those hundreds-year-old, most of which are two or three storied simple architecture. Each house has a courtyard, some big and some small, the size of which is due to the terrain.Here you can feel the real atmosphere of the Old Kashgar by seeing those pottery –makers, black –smith, handcraft makers , flower hat sellers , nan –bakers and the naughty boys......
