Sunday Bazaar is considered as the biggest open air market in the world. In the Sunday morning thousands of farmers driving carts from the countryside flow into the center of the Kashgar city. Nowadays donkey carts, motorbikes and lorries carried animals come together into the town, all in a hurry to get a better space in the market. The main bazaar is divided into several sections such as jewelry market, hat market, fruit market, carpet market, dress market etc….
After this you can go and visit the Animal Market. The streets will be full of camels, donkeys, sheep, goats, camels, horses …….. In the inside corner you'll find test-ride area for the donkeys and horses. Buyers and sellers mingled among the animals, examining ears, hooves and teeth for signs of health and value. Negotiations will be made with the help of a middleman, and then both sides will shake hands if they agreed each other. These scenes are timeless; they've played out for centuries.
