It is reported, the 2011 Nanjing Plum Blossom Festival is held on Lanhuagu Square in Nanjing, Jiangsu province.
The Plum Blossom Festival lasts from Feb 25th to Mar 13th, includes tens of various contents and activities for participation. Besides the awesome plum blossom view on Dr. Sun Yat-sen's Mausoleum, the “Nanjing Blossom” is recommended particularly. And there’re newly subjects, such as enjoying the sight from Shiuan-wu Lake, the themed pageant and so on.
The deputy mayor of Nanjing said, as the first tourism activity after the free opening of Dr. Sun Yat-sen's Mausoleum and Shiuan-wu Lake, this festival is based on plum blossom, integrates the Nanjing traditional tourist subjects with new ones though different kinds of business and cultural activities. It shows the whole world what Nanjing is presently and how charming it is.
