The annual meeting of the Shaanxi private webmasters alliance was held in the province from November 6th to 7th and attracted guests from nation-wide.
Themed "promoting investments and cultivating values", the meeting had the presence of many from across the nation like the general manager of the Data Center of the China internet (DCCI),Sohu and Discuz.
Held in the province's capital, the city of Xi'an, the meeting aimed at promoting the web industry in western China.
The attendants, most of which were webmasters, left aside their teeth-grinding routine and shared their ideas and stories, despite their being competitors in the industry.
"It is a good opportunity to share stories and learn experiences with each other," a young webmaster told the Global Times.
It is the third time for the meeting to be held in Shaanxi Province. "The past two editions were held on a much smaller scale, but this time, the whole country is in it," one of the organizers of the event told the Global Times.
