Xi'an Tourism Bureau released the first batch of "Xi'an tourism group catering units," recently. Laosun House restaurant, Xi'an restaurant and Tang Music Palace,etc. 63 in total food service units were nominated, among which 43 were A- Grade.
To further regulate the tourism team group catering services and to welcome the holding of 2011 International Horticultural Exposition, Xi'an Tourism Bureau and Xi'an Tourist Association began to manage the tourism reception units to a large scale. Even the non-tourist-star hotels in Xi'an, as long as the units are doing tourist cateing services, they will be the management according to the rules.
It is reported that those who are not entitled to receiving tourist groups dining can not deal with business with toursit groups. Meanwhile, the tourism sector will investigate the behaviors of the units. Once some bad behaviors were discovered, such as using rebate to attract customters, the units will be punished. They will be cancel the recommended qualifications and shall not be re-recommended within two years.
