"The Plan to Develop the Marine Economic Zone in Shandong Peninsula”, first approved national development strategy, is also the first strategy themed with marine economy. The tourism should be one of the core industry in the marine economic zone.
As for the development of marine economic zone, we can recognize and think about it from 5 aspects. Firstly, we could think about it from the motivational structure. In order to achieve the sustainable development, we have to deal with the issue of stimulating consumption and expand inner demand. Second is from the industrial structure. We have to consider the tertiary industry as the keystone in marine economy, including physical distribution, information flow, product flow. The third one is energy resource structure. It won’t be a good idea to cost much energy there.
To build marine economic zone is not only a economic construction, but also a cultural, technological and educational one. Without marine culture, there’s no related economy. And if there is such a marine economy without culture, it must be a body without soul.
