On the Jan 9th, Hunan held a press conference to show the main achievements during 11th Five-Year and the basic idea of 12th Five-Year.
Hunan realized the change from a province of tourist resources into a tourist industrial one, which fastened the rural construction, increased job opportunity and stimulate economic growth.
It is said that in the next five years, Hunan tourism will face a period of important strategic opportunities. During 12th five years, the general goal is to make tourism construction a strategic mainstay industry and a leading green one, the one can improve people’s livelihood.
Hunan tourism development is divided into three huge parts: great Changsha, great Western Hunan and great Southern Hunan, aiming to build seven golden tour zone including: Hsiang ecotourism, Western Hunan ecotourism and Hunan natural and humane tourism.
