Statistics shows that the inbound tourists to Beijing have increased sustain ably in this year. From Jan to October, the total number of inbound tourists is 4,163,000, raising 21.3% over the previous year and exceeding last year's total arrivals. Just in the period of October, Beijing has received 498,000 visitors, which makes a new high record of the city.
From the point of source countries, the top three are the United States, Japan and South Korea respectively during the ten months, which accounts for 35.9% of the total number of inbound tourists. Among them, 602,000 people come from America, with an increase of 22.7%; 460,000 visitors are Japanese, increasing 22.6% compared with that of last year; and 433,000 come from Korean, an increase of 46.6%.
Viewed from the continental source markets, the number of received tourists shows a substantial growth from Jan to October.
