It is learned that from the 2010-2011 Jilin Province Ice and Snow Tourism Season news conference that many cities will hold various of activities with the arrival of the ice season.
Lintian, the Deputy Director of Jilin Tourism Bureau said that a series of activities were planned for the celebration of the Ice and Snow Tourism Season. Therefore the activities lay more attentions to the diversity and interesting. The five major tourism festivals scheduled 150 items of tourism activities, covering ice and snow tourism, skiing, entertainment, folk experience and spring vacation. Activities last from December 2010 until mid-May 2011.
Jilin Province has also introduced ice celebration for travel tour, freezing vibrant travel, weekend leisure travel, the three northeastern provinces Classic Tour, the three beautiful border town tours and a number of new itineraries to make traveling more attractive and appealing.
