Lhasa to develop Himalayan Tourist Destinations with southeast Asia |
Lhasa, capital city of the Tibet Autonomous Region, is to cooperate with Nepal, India and Bhutan etc. to develop Himalayan Tourist Destinations, according to the Lhasa Tourism Bureau.
The Fifth Work Forum on Tibet proposed that Tibet should become "an important tourist destination of the world" which promoted tourism in TAR, and Lhasa, as the capital city has a great opportunity to develop its tourism, said Jiang Hua, director of Lhasa Tourism Bureau.
Jiang also said that Lhasa would boost its tourist products to the international world by building Himalayan Tourist Destinations with other countries. |
