Malaysia Become the Ninth Largest Tourism Country |
Malaysian Tourism Minister Huang Yanyan siaid on the date of 5 that Malaysia become the ninth largest country that visited by visitors from all over the world.
According to statistics, there were 2,300 million visitors who came to Malaysia last year, which makes both Malaysia and China listed in the top ten Asian countries. Huang pointed out that the reason Malaysia received the honor was due to national unity, national stability and delicious food provided for the tourism. She talked about this when she attend the Food Carnival activity " Malaysia, gives all kinds of food you want". She also stressed that the department had set a new target of tourist to attract about 36 million tourists by 2020 and hoped to bring 3.0 billion ringgit income per week.
