Shanxi Guoyang New Energy (600348) released operating revenue and net profit in the third quarter of 2010, which grew 57.9 percent and 52.47 percent year-on-year to 8.02 billion yuan and 787 million yuan, with an earnings per share (EPS) of 0.33 yuan, reports Yicai, citing a company filing.
The company experienced strong third quarter growth due to rising coal sales and prices.
Operating revenue and net profit in the first three quarters of 2010 climbed 49.22 percent and 45.8 percent year-on-year to 21.441 billion yuan and 2.029 billion yuan, with an EPS of 0.84 yuan.
Shares of Shanxi Guoyang New Energy fell 2.19 percent to trade at 29.09 yuan at 9:59 a.m. on the Shanghai Stock Exchange today.
