The Lishan Garden, the mausoleum of the first Qin Emperor (259 BC–210 BC), was opened on October 1. Same as the Terracotta Army Museum, the Lishan Garden is also a constituent part of the Museum of Qin Tomb.
The Lishan Garden is a great mausoleum in China with the maximum scale and the most abundant treasure troves. Located in the core area of the cemetery of the First Qin Emperor, it is 2,220 meters (7,283 ft) long from south to north, and 1,010 meters (3,314 ft) wide from east to west. The main visiting spots are the grave mound of Qin Tomb, the sites of major constructs, the subordinate tomb, and two museums (still under construction) of terracotta acrobatics and terracotta civil servants. To meet the demands of travels, there are 30 free buses running between Lishan Garden and the Terracotta Army Museum every day for visitors with tickets.
After the opening of Lishan Garden, a traveler can visit Lishan Garden and the Terracotta Army Museum with one ticket, the ticket price within the transition period is 110 yuan without distinction between rush season and the off-season. When those two museums (still under construction) of terracotta acrobatics and terracotta civil servants open in 2011, the ticket fare will up to 150 yuan in rush season (from November 1 to the end of February next year), and 120 yuan in off-season (from March 1 to the end of December).
