The first national park in Tibet, the Yarlung Tsangpo Grand Canyon National Park, recently has been unveiled officially. And from now, the idea of building national park themed with "commonweal, protection, exploration"brings a new view to the construction and exploration of tourism in Tibet.
On the open ceremony, Wang songping, the Vice Minister of Tibet Travel Bureau, said that the way to manage a large spots as a national park is recognized to be the most successful method worldwide, whose core concept is to stress the commonweal of large spots, and it can be achieved though improving the atmosphere, protecting historical sites, increasing the beautiful scenery, and prompting the local residents life.
