The Pacific Lutheran University of the USA is located in Washington State. It is a private university founded in 1890, which is famous for its commercial, education and nursing departments. It is one of the excellent universities in the west of the USA, being in top 15 of the best universities in the west of the USA. The Wind Ensemble and Jazz Ensemble are well-known and they are frequently invited to make performances all over the world. On 31st May, 2009, Xi'an Tianma International Travel Service organized its performance in Xi'an. At the night of performance, the concert hall of Xian Conservatory of Music was filled with audience. The two ensembles showed their great memories and talents.
They brought a great concert for Xi'an citizens. The American-version-the Journey to the West, Monkey King, performed by the Wind Ensemble, is cute and lovely. The Overture to the Royal Mongolian Suma Football Festival, performed by the Jazz Ensemble, has a strong rhythm and appeared very attractive. At the end of the performance, the audience burst into applause. And the actors had to make additional performance. The whole performance received great success.
