6-Day Beijing Economy Tour

Day1 Arrival in Beijing (D)
Upon arrival in Beijing, you will be met by our tour guide and transferred to the hotel. Free for the rest of the day.
Accommodation: Beijing Tian Bao Hotel or the same class

Day2 Beijing (B+L+D)
Have breakfast in the hotel and then visit the Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City. After lunch move to the Temple of Heaven. Then proceed to visit the Summer Palace. Peking Duck Dinner & Beijing Opera in the evening.

? Qianmen Street is open now. Lies to the south of the Tiananmen Square, it's a pedestrian street combining modern and ancient features of China. You may find a large number of old-brand shops settled here and the tram (RMB 5) to operate soon.

Day3 Beijing (B+L+D)
After breakfast in the hotel, we will drive to the famous Badaling Great Wall. Cable car is available on the Great Wall. And then visit the Ming Tombs. Chinese lunch is included. Drive back to the hotel.

Day4 Beijing (B+L+D)
Beijing Zoo is your first destination for today's tour. Then go to Shichahai to wander around the Hutong by rickshaw. You will be arranged to have lunch with locals in typical residence-Beijing Courtyard. After lunch, move to the Tibetan Lama Temple (Yonghe Gong), a famous lamasery located in the northeastern part of the old city of Beijing. Drive back to your hotel.

Note: A hutong is an ancient city alley or lane typical in Beijing. Existed as early as hundreds of years ago, narrow lanes, or hutongs were common in ancient Beijing. In the past, several thousand lanes, alleys and quadrangles formed residential areas for ordinary people living in the capital. Today, as the city develops into an international metropolis, its lanes and alleyways are disappearing at a fast pace, but, still occupy one fourth of the city proper, still serving as dwellings for one third of the total urban population.

Day5 Beijing (B+L+D)
Have breakfast in the hotel. The whole day is free for you to explore Beijing City.

Day6 Beijing Departure (B)
See off at the airport.
