Day1 Arrival in Beijing (D)
Upon arrival in Beijing, our professional English speaking guide will meet you with your name sign and escort you to the hotel. The rest of the day is at your leisure to recover from jet leg.

Day2 Beijing (B+L+D)
A full day city tour to Tiananmen Square, the largest square in the world and Forbidden City, the home of 24 emperors built in the Ming Dynasty. In the afternoon go to visit Temple of Heaven where the Ming and Qing emperors worship the God for good harvests. In the evening, you will enjoy the famous Peking Duck, then go to watch the fantastic Acrobatic Show.

Day3 Beijing (B+L+D)
You will go to visit the awesome Great Wall of China, to view the spectacular man-made project visible from the space and in the afternoon you will stroll along the Ming Tombs. On your way back you will have a chance to see the National Stadium (Bird's Nest) where 2008 Beijing Olympics Opening and Closing Ceremonies were held, and the National Aquatics Center nicknamed 'the Water Cube' from a distance.

Day4 Beijing to Xian (B+L+D)
This morning you will go to visit the one of the World Heritage Sites Summer Palace, the well-preserved and largest royal summer resort for the Empress Dowager Cixi. After lunch you will go to visit the Hutong to see the authentic life of local people and experience rickshaw in the narrow alley and have dinner with a family there. In the evening you will take an overnight soft sleeper train (Z19 2124/0825) to Xian.

Day5 Xian (B+L+D)
Today you will go to visit the world wonder Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum. It is the most awesome discovery in Xian. In the afternoon, go on to explore the Big Wild Goose Pagoda which is the symbol of Xian. In the evening enjoy the local flavor-Dumpling Dinner and the Tang Dynasty Music and Dance Show.

Day6 Xian to Luoyang (B+L+D)
Today's sightseeing is the Shaanxi Provincial History Museum and the ancient City Wall. Then you will take the train (K618 1533/2033) from Xian to Luoyang, a rich historical and cultural site, particularly is well-known as peonies.

Day7 Luoyang (B+L+D)
Today's highlight is Longmen Grottoes, one of China's three most precious treasure houses of stone sculptures and inscriptions. Lunch in a local restaurant then continue to visit the White Horse Temple known as the first Buddhist temple and is honored as the 'Cradle of Buddhism in China'.

Day8 Luoyang to Beijing (B+L+D)
Morning tour to the Luoyang Ancient Tombs Museum, it is the world's first example of the kind and presents thousands of treasures discovered in the tombs. After lunch, it is your own time for you to explore the city. And after dinner, you will take train (K270 2020/0557) from Luoyang to Beijing.
Day9 Beijing Departure (B)
After breakfast, our guide takes you to the international airport and you will depart for home. |
