Day1 Arrival in Beijing (D)
Our guide will meet you in the airport when you arrive in Beijing and then take you to the hotel to check in. The rest of the day is left for yourself.

Day2 Beijing (B+L+D)
A full day city tour to Tiananmen Square, which is the largest square in the world and the Forbidden City, the home of 24 emperors built in the Ming Dynasty. In the afternoon go to visit the Temple of Heaven, where the Ming and Qing emperors worshiped the God for good harvest. In the evening, you will enjoy the famous Peking Duck Dinner and then go to watch the Beijing Opera.

Day3 Beijing (B+L+D)
Drive to the world famous Badaling Great Wall to have a wonderful view of this great manmade project visible from the space, afterwards go to visit the Ming Tombs, a sacred place where 13 Ming emperors were buried. On your way back you can appreciate the exterior of the National Stadium (Bird's Nest) and the National Aquatics Center nicknamed as 'the Water Cube'.

Day4 Beijing to Kunming (B+L+D)
Visit the Temple of Heaven and then have a special Hutong tour by rickshaw. Take a flight to Kunming to start a new tour. The guide will meet you in the airport and then take you to the hotel.

Day5 Kunming (B+L+D)
A full day tour to the famous Stone Forest, you can enjoy a unique karst topography, which is one of the best of its kind within China. The stelae and the stalagmites are erecting abruptly from the ground forming a magnificent stone forest.

Day6 Kunming to Lijiang (B+L+D)
Visit the Qiongzhu Temple after breakfast. Take a short flight to Lijiang, a very special tour destination with colorful ethnic culture. Come to visit the Black Dragon Pool and the Dongba Cultural Institute.

Day7 Lijiang (B+L+D)
Drive to the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. Take a chairlift to the Spruce Plateau to enjoy the breathtaking scenery. Afterwards go to enjoy the Baisha Mural Painting and stroll the old Square Street to see the attractive wooden structures, small streams and alleys. Have a choice to taste local cuisine tonight.

Day8 Lijiang to Lugu Lake (B+L+D)
After the breakfast in the hotel, drive to Lugu Lake (around 6 hours driving) on the way you can enjoy the fantastic bird's eye view of the Lugu lake and JinSa River. Transfer to the hotel. Enjoy a bonfire after dinner.

Day9 Lugu Lake to Lijiang (B+L+D)
Today you will get on a small boat (Zhucao Chuan called by local people) to experience the custom of Lugu people and its island scenery. Having a family visit and learn more about Mosuo People's unique culture, especially the walking marriage. Drive back to Lijiang.

Day10 Lijiang to Guiyang (B+L+D)
Take a short flight to Kunming then continue your flight to Guiyan. The guide meet you at the airport and transfer you to the hotel. Visit Qingyan Old Town and see the special folk customs.

Day11 Guiyang to Huangguoshu Waterfall (137km) (B+L+D)
Today take 2.5 hours' drive to Huangguoshu Waterfall and on the way explore ZuoQi Black Miao Village to discover women's traditional costume with big earring, black turban and cotton jacket. Visit the largest waterfall in Asia then back to Guiyang.

Day12 Guiyang to Beijing (B+L+D)
Take flight back to Beijing and enjoy your leisure time for the rest of day. |
