Day1 Arrival in Beijing (D)
Upon arrival in Beijing, our guide will pick you up at the airport then transfer to the hotel. The rest of the day is free for you to explore Beijing City.

Day2 Beijing (B+L+D)
A full day city tour to the Tiananmen Square (the largest city square in the world) and the Forbidden City (home of 24 emperors). In the afternoon go to visit Temple of Heaven where the Ming and Qing emperors worshipped the God for good harvests.
In the evening, you will have chance to enjoy a fabulous welcome banquet featuring the famous Beijing Duck then go to watch the Peking Opera.

Day3 Beijing (B+L+D)
You will go to visit the awesome Great Wall of China to view the spectacular man-made project visible from the space and in the afternoon you will stroll along the Ming Tombs. On your way back appreciate the exterior of the National Stadium (Bird's Nest) where 2008 Beijing Olympics Opening and Closing ceremonies were held and the National Aquatics Center nicknamed 'the Water Cube' in a distance.

Day4 Beijing to Xian (B+L+D)
Take a morning flight to Xian. Upon arrival in Xian, the guide will pick you up in the airport and take you to the hotel. After lunch you will visit the Shaanxi Provincial History Museum and Bell Tower and Drum Tower Square where you can absorb the atmosphere of the ancient city.

Day5 Xian (B+L+D)
After breakfast you will visit one of the eight wonders-Qin Terracotta Warriors and Horses. It is the most famous discovery in 1974. This incredible life-size warriors and horses were made for guarding the Tomb of Emperor Qinshihuang since 210 BC. Enjoy the evening show of the Tang Dynasty, which presents the palace dances and music during the golden time when Xian was the capital of China.

Day6 Xian to Yinchuan (B+L+D)
Today you will visit the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, the symbol of Xian and the magnificent City Wall built in the Ming Dynasty. It is also the oldest and best preserved defensive wall in the world. Take a flight to Yinchuan, the capital city of Ningxia and the home of Chinese Muslim Hui people.

Day7 Yinchuan to Shapotou to Yinchuan (B+L+D)
One day tour to one of China's four singing sand dunes located on the southern rim of the Tengger Desert. There you can enjoy a sand slide, sand sculpture, sand bath and camel riding to experience this peculiar geological area.

Day8 Yinchuan to Lanzhou (B+L+D)
Today you will go to visit the Western Xia Imperial Tombs, known as the Pyramids of China, the Ningxia museum and the 'Oriental Hollywood'-the Western Movie City, where many famous films were made. Continue to visit the Great Nanguan Mosque, where local people practice their religion everyday.

Day9 Lanzhou to Xiahe (B+L+D)
Lanzhou is the capital of Gansu. Today's tour is to Binglingsi Thousand Buddha Caves in Lanzhou. About 75km from Lanzhou, it is a treasure of Buddhism built in 420 AD with over 196 caves, 694 stone sculptures, 81 clay sculptures and over 900 sq.m fresco. Visit the diversified mosques in Linxia, known as Little Mecca in China along the way to Xiahe.

Day10 Xiahe (B+L+D) (Best visit time is from May to October)
Visit the Labrang Monastery-one of the largest Tibetan monasteries, known as the little Potala Palace and the University for Tibetan Buddism. And then go to the Sangke Grassland and have a Tibetan family visit to experience their hospitality and their food.

Day11 Xiahe to Lanzhou to Xining (B+L+D)
Take a morning drive back to Lanzhou and have a short city tour to the Yellow River, the Zhongshan Bridge (the first Bridge on the Yellow River), then take an about 3-hour train trip to Xining, the capital city of Qinghai Province.

Day12 Xining (B+L+D)
Visit the Ta'er Monastery (Kumbum Monastery), one of the six great monasteries of Gelugpa in Tibetan Buddhism. The most attractive and famous treasures here are ghee flowers, frescos and it special embroidery named barbola. In the afternoon visit the Tu Village of the Tu Autonomous County. Tu people speak their own Tu language. They used to believe in the multi-gods religion. You can taste the beer made of barley.

Day13 Xining to Qinghai Lake (B+L+D)
Full day tour to the Qinghai Lake (150km), the largest inland salt-water lake in China. The Bird Island and the large area of yellow flower (canola seed flower) are the most attractive parts for the visitor during the months from June to September. Drive back to Xining afterwards.

Day14 Xining to Beijing (B+L+D)
We will take the flight from Xining to Beijing. After arriving, our guide will pick you up at the airport and then the rest of the time is on your side.
