Day1 Arrival in Beijing (D)
Our guide will meet you at the airport and transfer you to the hotel. The rest of the day is on your own to recover from the jet-leg or explore the city.

Day2 Beijing (B+L+D)
Take a full day tour to the Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City and the Temple of Heaven. The Beijing Duck Dinner will be served followed by Peking Opera performance.

Day3 Beijing (B+L+D)
Visit the Badaling Great Wall, the most magnificent section of the Wall. After lunch visit the Sacred Way and the Ming Tomb. On the way back you have chance to appreciate the exterior of the National Stadium (Bird Nest) and the National Aquatics Center (Water Cube).

Day4 Beijing to Yinchuan (B+L+D)
This morning you will go to visit one of the World Heritage Sites-the Summer Palace, the well preserved and largest royal summer resort for the Empress Dowager Cixi. After lunch you will go to take flight to Yinchuan, the capital city of Ningxia and the home of Chinese Muslim Hui people. Upon your arrival, the guide will meet you and transfer you to the hotel.

Day5 Yinchuan to Xining (B+L+D)
One day tour to one of china's four singing sand dunes located on the southern rim of the Tengger Desert. You can enjoy a sand slide, sand sculpture, sand bath and camel riding to experience this peculiar geological area. Visit the West Xia Imperial Tombs known as the Pyramids of China, Ningxia museum. Take an overnight soft sleeper train to Xining.

Day6 Xining (B+L+D)
Have a full day tour to the beautiful Qinghai Lake (Qinghai Lake is about 200 kilometers away from Qinghai City. It may take four or five hours to get there). You can enjoy the wonderful scenery of the Riyue Mountain and the Back Flow River (Daotang He).

Day7 Xining to Lanzhou (B+L+D)
Visit the Ta'er Monastery (Kumbum Monastery), one of the six great monasteries of Gelugpa in Tibetan Buddhism. The most attractive and famous treasures are ghee flowers, frescos and its special embroidery named barbola. After lunch take a train to Lanzhou (around 3 hours ride)

Day8 Lanzhou to Xian (B+L+D)
Visit the widely known Binglingsi Thousand Caves, a treasure of Buddhism built in the year of 420 with over 196 caves, 694 stone sculptures, 81 clay sculptures and over 900 sq.m fresco. (75km from Lanzhou). Take an overnight train to Xian.

Day9 Xian (B+L+D)
Visit one of the wonders in the world-Qin Terracotta Warriors and Horses Army, the most magnificent discovery in 1974. Visit the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, the symbol of Xian City.

Day10 Xian (B+L+D)
Visit the Shaanxi Provincial History Museum and the City Wall. Built in the Ming Dynasty, the City Wall is the best preserved and the oldest defensive system. The Dumpling Banquet and Tang Dynasty Dinner Show will be served in the evening.

Day11 Xian to Hohhot (B+L+D)
Take a flight to Hohhot, after arrival go to visit the Zhaojun Tomb and the Five Pagoda Temple then transfer to the hotel.

Day12 Hohhot (B+L+D)
Go to Xilamuren Grassland and try activities such as Mongolian wrestling, horse back riding and visit traditional families, taste the dairy food of herdsman. Enjoy the Mongolian folk song and dance performance and campfire in the evening.

Day13 Hohhot to Shanghai (B+L+D)
Take a morning flight to Shanghai and transfer to the hotel. The rest of the day is on your own to explore this charming city. The Nanjing Road is a very good place for shopping. You can stroll along the road to feel its prosperity. The night view of Shanghai is also highly recommended.

Day14 Shanghai (B+L+D)
Our guide will take you for a full day tour to see the Bund, the Jade Buddha Temple and the Oriental Pear TV Tower and enjoy an acrobatic show after dinner.
