Day1 Arrival in Beijing (D)
Upon arrival in Beijing, our guide will pick you up at the airport then transfer you to the hotel. The rest of the day is free for you to explore Beijing City.

Day2 Beijing (B+L+D)
We will visit the Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City. After lunch in a local restaurant, we will move to the Temple of Heaven. In the evening enjoy Peking Duck Dinner and the Peking Opera.

Day3 Beijing to visit Great Wall (B+L+D)
Today go to visit the Great Wall, one of most magnificent projects in the world. In the afternoon you will stroll along the Ming Tombs. On your way back appreciate the exterior of National Stadium (Bird's Nest) where 2008 Beijing Olympics Opening and Closing Ceremonies were held, and the National Aquatics Center nicknamed "the Water Cube".

Day4 Beijing to Urumqi (B+L+D)
Visit the Summer Palace in the morning. After lunch take a flight to Urumqi. Our guide will pick you up at the airport and transfer to the hotel.

Day5 Urumqi (B+L+D)
Visit the Heavenly Mountain and the Heavenly Lake (including the cruise). In the afternoon, visit the Xinjiang Regional Museum.

Day6 Urumqi to Turpan (B+L+D)
After breakfast, visit the Southern Pasture and the local yurt. Ride a horse around White Poplar Valley Falls. On the way to Turpan, visit the Wind Power Station.

Day7 Turpan to Dunhuang (B+L+D)
Visit the Jiaohe Ancient Ruins, Emin Minaret, Ancient Astana Tombs, the Bizaklik Thousand Buddha Caves, the Karez Well and also you will have a local family visit. Take an overnight soft sleeper train to Dunhuang.

Day8 Dunhuang (B+L+D)
Pick you up at the train station and transfer to the hotel. Visit the Mogao Grottoes, Echoing-Sand Mountain (Mingsha Shan) (enjoy a camel ride in the desert) and Crescent-Moon Spring (Yueya Quan).

Day9 Dunhuang to Jiayuguan to Jiuquan (B+L+D)
Drive from Dunhuang to Jiayuguan in the morning. On the way, visit the Gobi Desert, Yadan Landscape. Arrival in Jiayuguan, visit the Jiayuguan Pass, one section of the ancient Great Wall. Drive to Jiuquan and transfer to the hotel.

Day10 Jiuquan to Zhangye (B+L+D)
After breakfast, visit the Jiuquan Park then drive to Zhangye. Upon arrival in Zhangye visit the Grand Buddha Temple. Our guide will transfer you to the hotel then.

Day11 Zhangye to Xining (B+L+D)
On the way from Zhangye to Xining, visit the Daban Mountain and also visit the Ta'er Monastery. Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel.

Day12 Xining (B+L+D)
After breakfast, drive to visit the Qinghai Lake, the most beautiful lake in China, the Sun and Moon Mountain and the Back Flow River.

Day13 Xining to Xian (B+L+D)
Visit the Dongguan Mosque then take a flight to Xian. Our guide will pick you up then visit the magnificent City Wall. Built in the Ming Dynasty, it is the oldest and most complete defensive systems. Then come to visit the Shaanxi Provincial History Museum. Enjoy Dumpling Dinner and Tang Dynasty Cultural Show in the evening.

Day14 Xian to Shanghai (B+L+D)
Take a tour to the Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum and see the amazing archaeological discovery of Qin Dynasty. Have a local lunch near the museum. Then take the overnight sleeper train from Xian to Shanghai.

Day15 Shanghai (B+L+D)
Today's tour is to visit the Yuyuan Garden, the Jade Buddha Temple, the Bund and Oriental Pearl TV Tower. After dinner, enjoy an acrobatic show.

Day16 Shanghai Departure (B)
