Day1 Arrival in Beijing (B+L+D)
Our guide will meet you at Beijing Airport and transfer you to the hotel. The rest of the day is on your own to explore the city.

Day2 Beijing (B+L+D)
Visit the Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City and the Temple of Heaven. The Beijing Duck Dinner is served at a famous restaurant followed by a lively Peking Opera performance at the Liyuan Theatre.

Day3 Beijing (B+L+D)
A full-day excursion to the majestic Great Wall which was built over 2,000 years ago and stretching about 4000 miles. Have lunch near the wall then go to visit the Sacred Way and the Ming Tombs. On your way back appreciate the exterior of National Stadium (Bird's Nest) where 2008 Beijing Olympics Opening and Closing Ceremonies were held, and the National Aquatics Center nicknamed 'the Water Cube'.

Day4 Beijing to Urumqi (B+L+D)
Visit the Summer Palace in the morning. After lunch take flight to Urumqi. Our guide will pick you up at the airport and transfer to the hotel.

Day5 Urumqi (B+L+D)
Visit the Heavenly Mountain and the Heavenly Lake (including the cruise), afterwards visit the Xinjiang Regional Museum.

Day6 Urumqi to Kashgar (B+L+D)
Take a morning flight to Kashgar. Visit the Id Kah Mosque, the largest mosque in China, Kashgar Grand Bazaar with many ethnic daily commodities and very colorful local handicrafts.

Day7 Kashgar to Urumqi to Turpan (B+L+D)
Take a morning visit to an ancient masterpiece of Uygur Islamic building, Abakh Hoja Tomb. It is the 17th century family cemetery known as the Tomb of Xiang Fei, the only Uygur concubine among the 41 wives of Emperor Qianlong in the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911). Afterwards take a flight to Urumqi upon arrival driving directly to Turpan.

Day8 Turpan to Dunhuang (B+L+D)
Turpan is a very important place along the Silk Road, known as 'the Fire Land', 'Hometown of Grape' with many historical sites and unique landscapes. It becomes a very hot place for the tourists.
Today you will go to visit the Jiaohe Ancient Ruins, the Emin Minaret, the Karez Well and a local Uygur family. Take an overnight soft sleeper train to Dunhuang.

Day9 Dunhuang (B+L+D)
Pick you up in the train station and transfer to the hotel. After breakfast, visit the Mogao Grottoes, Echoing-Sand Mountain (Mingsha Shan) (enjoy a camel ride in the desert) and Crescent-Moon Spring (Yueya Quan).

Day10 Dunhuang to Lanzhou (B+L+D)
Lanzhou is the capital of Gansu, located in the northwest China and the upper reaches of the Yellow River. Take a flight to Lanzhou and transfer to the hotel. Have a city tour to the Waterwheel Garden and Zhongshan Iron Bridge, whcih is the first one on the Yellow River.

Day11 Lanzhou to Xiahe ((B+L+D) Best visit time is from May to October)
Today's tour is to Binglingsi Thousand Buddha Caves in Lanzhou. It is a treasure of Buddhism built in 420 AD with over 196 caves, 694 stone sculptures, 81 clay sculptures and over 900 sq.m fresco.(75km from Lanzhou). Visit the diversified mosques in Linxia known as little Mecca in China along the way to Xiahe.

Day12 Xiahe (B+L+D)
Visit the Labrang Monastery-one of the largest Tibetan monasteries, known as the little Potala Palace and the University for Tibetan Buddism. Visit the Sangke Grassland and have a Tibetan family visit to experience their hospitality and their food.

Day13 Xiahe to Lanzhou to Xian (B+L+D)
In the morning drive back to Lanzhou then take a flight to Xian.

Day14 Xian (B+L+D)
Visit the world wonder-Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum, the most significant archeological discovery in 20th Century. In the afternoon, go on to explore the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, the symbol of Xian. In the evening enjoy the local flavor- Dumpling and the Tang Dynasty Culture Show.

Day15 Xian (B+L+D)
Today you will visit the Grear Mosque, the magnificent City Wall and the Shaanxi Provincial History Museum.

Day16 Xian to Shanghai (B+L+D)
Take a morning flight to Shanghai. Visit the Yuyuan Garden. The rest of day is free for you to explore the city. You can stroll along the Nanjing road to feel its prosperity and the night view of Shanghai.

Day17 Shanghai (B+L+D)
Today you visit the Jade Buddha Temple where two precious jade statues of Sakyamuni Buddha are housed and Shanghai Museum with rich collection of ancient Chinese art of bronze, ceramics, paintings and calligraphy and the Oriental Pear TV Tower in Pudong. Enjoy an acrobatic show after dinner.
