Day1 (July 18) Shanghai (D)
Arrival in Shanghai, our guide will meet you and transfer you to the hotel. You are free to recover from jet-leg or explore the city on you own.

Day2 (July 19) Shanghai (B+L)
You will have a full day tour to the Yuyuan Garden built in the Ming Dynasty, the Jade Buddha Temple located in the downtown area and a tranquil place for the followers and the Bund a major attraction in Shanghai with some architecture of century European buildings. (in the evening the optional acrobatic show is available)

Day3 (July 20) Shanghai to Suzhou to Hangzhou (B+L)
You take a bullet train to Suzhou(about 40 minutes). Visit Master-of-Nets Garden, the smallest but the best and most celebrated of all the gardens in Suzhou. Visit Panmen Gate, the most completely preserved part of the ruins of 2500 years ancient city and have a boat tour along the Grand Canal. Then visit the No.1 Silk Factory to learn how the pure silk products are made from a single small cocoon. You will take afternoon train to Hangzhou.

Day4 (July 21) Hangzhou (B+L)
Visit the Lingyin Temple (Temple of Inspired Seclusion), the West Lake, known as the jewel of Hangzhou, surrounded by hills on three sides and faces downtown Hangzhou on the fourth side. The peaceful West Lake has two causeways, Bai and Su, which separate the lake into five parts. Proceed to Longjing Tea Village, where you can have a nice cup of the famous Longjing tea. Drive to Anji (1.5 hours) hotel near the observation venue of your solar eclipse tour.

Day5 (July 22) Hangzhou (B+L)
Head for the Tianhuangping, the second biggest reservoir and power station in the world. It is the best observation venue for the Solar Eclipse. After watching Eclipse, tour around the Tianhuangping then back to Hongzhou.

Day6 (July 23) Hangzhou to Shanghai (B)
Take morning train back to Shanghai. You have the choice to stay or take your departure flight for the next destination. |
