Day1 Arrival in Beijing (D)
Our guide will pick you up at Beijing airport and take you to the hotel. You are free for the rest of the day to explore the city.

Day2 Beijing (B+L+D)
Visit the Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City and the Temple of Heaven.

Day3 Beijing (B+L+D)
One day excursion to Mutianyu Great Wall and century-old Qianmen, Beijing Roasted Duck dinner served at the original Quan Ju De Restaurant in the evening. (Vegetarian meal is available for the vegetarian).

Day4 Beijing to Xian (B+L+D)
Visit the Summer Palace in the morning. Take overnight soft sleeper train to have an experience of local life.

Day5 Xian (B+L+D)
After arriving, you will visit the Provincial History Museum, Big Wild Goose Pagoda and the Great Mosque. Enjoy the wonderful Tang Dynasty Dance & Music Show in the evening.

Day6 Xian (B+L+D)
Visit the Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum, one of the world most famous archaeological discoveries.

Day7 Xian to Lhasa (B+L+D)
Take flight to Lhasa and transfer to the hote. You visit the Jokhang Temple- the most sacred temple in Tibet. In the afternoon, enjoy exploring the Barkhor Street, one of the most important religious paths and is famous for the local handcrafts and very special souvenirs.

Day8 Lhasa (B+L+D)
Visit the spectacular Potala Palace which was built in the 17th century. It houses more than 1,000 rooms including the Red Palace where the Dalai Lama once lived. Norbulingka, the summer palace of Dalai Lama and Sera Monastery which was found in 1419 by Sakya Yeshe, a disciple of Tsongkhapa. In the Sera Monastery you can learn more about the life of lamas and to see the debating of lames.

Day9 Lhasa to Chengdu (B+L+D)
Today you take early flight to Chengdu and drive to the Panda Sanctuary, which has the largest number of pandas one can see anywhere in the world. The sanctuary is a breeding ground for both giant and lesser pandas, who roam freely in a natural environment.

Day10 Chengdu to Chongqing (B+L+D)
You will fly to Chongqing and explore the city and visit the General Joseph W. Stilwell Museum before boarding the Cruiser for your Pre-cruise night.

Day11 Cruise on the Yangtze River (B+L+D)
After breakfast enjoy a shore excursion to Shibaozhai - a gem of Chinese architecture. This wood red pavilion, 11-storey high was built against a protruding 220-meter rectangular rock with sheer cliffs on the north bank. After visiting embark the boat and continue the cruise along the Yangtze and dinner on board.

Day12 Cruise on the Yangtze River (B+L+D)
Today you will cruise through the spectacular Qutang Gorge and enjoy a shore excursion at Wu Gorge and have a chance to change to see a Lesser Three Gorge with a sampan and you will continue cruising through the west part of Xiling Gorges.

Day13 Yichang to Shanghai (B+L+D)
Enjoy the east part of Xiling Gorge then take a shore excursion at the Three Gorges Dam Project. One of the largest construction project in the world, it will forever change the face of the Yangtze River. After lunch disembark from Yichang and transfer to take the flight to Shanghai.

Day14 Shanghai (B+L+D)
You will take a walk along the famous waterfront. Visit the Shanghai Museum which has a rich collection of ancient Chinese art work. Then continue to visit the Yuyuan Garden, a famous Chinese classic garden and the Jade Buddha Temple.

Day15 Shanghai Departure (B)
