Red Hill Park, located in the city centre, stands 910 m above sea level. The rocks are reddish brown, hence the name of Red Hill. From the top you can have a panoramic view of the capital city of Urumqi. On the hilltop there's a 9 story pagoda built in 1788 named Dragon Suppressing Pagoda. It's cool and pleasant place to walk around.

If you go in from the front gate, need to climb more than 300 stairs. If you go in from the back gate, you can choose to get on the buggy or walk. Buggy costs 10 Yuan one way.
