What should you pack for Xi’an:
Xi’an located in the west-north of China. There have clearly four seasons weather. You could pack different clothes, wears for different seasons.
Spring and autumn are rain season in Xi’an, it is better that bring small umbrella and light rain coat.
Summer from May to August, is the hottest season in Xi’an, do not forget sunglasses, sun block, small umbrellas when you travel in Xi’an.
Winter from the end of Nov to Earlier February, during the season weather is dry, but not so cold. Your lips will feel very dry and uncomfortable. You could prepare a hat, and overcoat.
When you are arriving in Xi’an:
Xi’an Xian yang international airport is 35 km far away from Xi’an urban city, there has three kind of ways you could reach your hotels or hostels. There are two terminals in Xi’an xiyang international airport; each terminal has its own shuttle bus terminal. Most shuttle bus are available in T2, only Line one will stop at T1 which arrives at center of Xi’an city near Bell tower. The two airports have the same fare-RMB 30 per person for the bus transfer from airport to the city center.

Money exchange in Xi’an:
Usually you could exchange money in each branch of Bank of China or withdraw Chinese currency from ATM machines. When you are preparing to exchange money, do not forget your passport which is a must in China to trade foreign currencies. Also, please keep your receipt which is valid for three months. You could use your receipt to exchange Chinese Yuan （RMB）to your country’s currency before you leave China.
